Training, Coaching & Development
Aldersgate's focus is on changing behaviour so that the people we work with become more effective and more influential in their work, in order to develop the capabilities of our client's people and organization. We do this by working with teams and individuals in three ways: training, executive coaching and facilitation. In all our work we are committed to ensuring the maximum transfer of knowledge and skills to your organization. Our fundamental principle is that our work must deliver measurable value i.e. improved performance in the short, medium and long-term to our clients.
Your objectives are the starting point for any work we do. We work with you to agree the impact you want to achieve and then create an intervention designed to do this. This may involve:
- designing and delivering custom-made courses
- building a case-study to ensure an externally certified qualification course is relevant to your organization (e.g. PMP certification of the PMI)
- executive coaching of an individual or a team
- facilitating group or team sessions
- reviewing and improving the skills of your internal experts through "train the trainer" interventions
- helping you to develop and structure courses to be delivered by internal experts
In every case, the people at Aldersgate who you meet are the same people you will work with. We do not "bait and switch" leaving you with someone with whom you do not have a relationship.
Our training is based on Active Learning, or the workshop-style of training. This means that course participants are highly involved in activities and in doing things, because research and experience shows that this is the most effective way to develop practical capabilities in people.
